What is the difference between the two styles? Both are purple on a silver-white brocade ground with blue accents. Lilac Garden shows lilac blossoms; Violet Wisteria shows hanging wisteria.
Is the bag embroidered? No. The pattern is woven into the brocade (jacquard), not embroidered.
